Curious to know your home's past? After years of offering help on the side, Marissa now offers it as a standard service. A building bio includes a physical description of its character-defining features, an estimated construction date based on deed records and other historical documentation, an ownership history, and some background on its immediate context.

The Basics

Brief building description, an estimated construction date, and ownership history packaged in a single document.

More Details

A written narrative with more details from available historical documentation, such as census records and city directories. Optional add-ons: an archive search for old photos and a site visit if local.

$500 +

The Works

Thorough documentation and a written significance statement sufficient for submitting to the State Historic Preservation Office for an eligibility determination or a Part One application for historic tax credits. Site visit included. Fee is dependent on travel distance and property complexity.
